How to Get There
Isabela, Puerto Rico
When you’re looking for flights to Puerto Rico, you have two choices.
Option 1: fly into the San Juan airport (SJU), which is a 1.5 hour drive to the wedding venue
Option 2: fly into the Aguadilla airport (BQN), which is a 30 minute drive to the wedding venue

San Juan
If you fly into San Juan (SJU), we recommend the following:
Fly on Wednesday February 12 (at the latest)
Stay in Viejo San Juan for 1 night
Rent a car at the airport and drive to Isabela on Thursday February 13
The drive will take 1 hour 30 minutes minimum. Consider taking 2-3 extra hours to stop at a couple beaches along the way.
Aguadilla
If you fly into Aguadilla (BQN), we recommend the following:
Fly early in the morning on Thursday February 13 (at the latest)
Rent a car at the airport to get to your hotel, the wedding venue, and the additional events at Jobos beach
Since most routes will be 15-30 minutes, taxis and Ubers are also a viable option

CULTURAL SITES
There’s plenty of beautiful architecture, coffee shops, art museums, music, & dancing to keep you entertained in Puerto Rico. Viejo San Juan is definitely the cultural epicenter of the island. But if you have some extra time and being out in nature is not really your thing, consider taking a road trip to the southwestern city of Ponce.

NATURE & ADVENTURE
Get out into the great outdoors to enjoy world class hiking, surfing, kayaking, and ziplining. Puerto Rico is not your typical Caribbean island. In addition to it’s abundance of beautiful beaches, PR also has several unusual natural amenities including a rainforest, desert, 4K foot mountain, underground river / cavern, and 3 out of the 5 bioluminescent bays in the entire world!!

FOOD
Puerto Ricans proudly refer to the traditional cooking on the island as Criollo (Creole), which is a mix of Spanish, African, and native cooking techniques found in their heritage. They are known for their pernil (pork) and pescado (seafood) dishes in particular.
